Please review the following job description:

Create and execute test scenarios and cases in support of system testing. Analyze and report test results including defect and test summary reports. Work with defined testing tools and processes to ensure software quality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.  Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.  Specific activities may change from time to time. 

1. Lead the testing requirements and design reviews, including overseeing the work of testing teams.

2. Create and execute moderate to complex test scenarios and cases.

3. Track and monitor defects.

4. Report testing status via test summary and defect reporting.

5. Support a specific application(s) that may support a specific line of business (LOB), channel or other business function.

6. Serve as Subject matter expert (SME) from a software testing perspective for application(s) in assigned portfolio.

7. Collaborate with other LOBs and Tech partners to ensure software quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent education and related training

2. Six years of experience in testing and quality assurance processes

3. Working knowledge of test management tools, such as HP Application Lifecycle Management or Quality Center

4. Good verbal and written communication skills

5. Ability to work independently or as a member of a team

6. Understand business, functional and technical aspects applications in assigned portfolio

7. Understand application landscape (e.g. application architecture, physical and logical deployment, interfaces, dependencies) for applications in assigned portfolio

Preferred Qualifications:

1. International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Foundations Certification

2. American Society for Quality Certified Quality Improvement Associate
