Your Impact
- Providing technical and project management leadership on projects with an aquatic biology focus.
- Understanding environmental Best Management Practices and advising clients accordingly.
- Managing, planning, and leading aquatic projects.
- Managing tasks and projects according to approved scopes of works and deliver quality reports on schedule.
- Liaising with Indigenous communities, partners, client representatives, regulators, contractors, and sub‑contractors.
- Providing quality and independent reviews for projects.
- Providing an understanding of environmental Best Management Practices and advise clients accordingly.
- Providing mentorship and training for our environmental professional team.
- Leading technical teams to ensure the quality, cost‑effectiveness, and timeliness of project deliverables.
- Creating project status reports and maintain project documentation.
- Working collaboratively within the Triton corporate culture.
Your Skills & Experience
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in biology, environmental science, or related field
- Technical knowledge in aquatics and fisheries biology
- Professional biologist designation or eligibility is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of aquatic field work experience.
- Strong understanding of the Federal Fisheries Act and other Federal and Provincial environmental legislation.
- Strong technical writing, reporting, communication, team leadership and project management skills
- Experience with environmental monitoring and/or environmental inspection
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative working style
- Solutions oriented with a pragmatic approach to project execution.

Location, Work Schedule & Flexibility
This position is based in our Edmonton office and site travel may be required on an as needed basis.
Triton promotes and encourages a collaborative team culture; with a hybrid work schedule (i.e., three days per week in the Edmonton office) supported.
