Compensation: $35/hr
The Opportunity:
- The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide quality delivery of assigned Acupuncture courses utilizing a variety of instruction strategies, techniques, and delivery methods to meet the individual learning styles of the students, in a safe and civil learning environment. Instructors are responsible for teaching assigned courses in accordance with course competencies, taking daily attendance, and grading class tests, assignments, and exams.
- The Acupuncture Instructor will support the vision, mission, and values of triOS College while contributing to a positive, supportive, and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, dedication, and readiness, embracing diversity and fostering inclusion
What you bring to the position:
- A healthcare professional with an acupuncture practitioner diploma or contemporary acupuncture certificate from a recognized College.
- Active registration in good standing with either the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO) or any healthcare professional with Acupuncture authorization is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as an Acupuncturist or as a healthcare professional with acupuncture authorization would be an asset.
- Knowledge of TCM Myology and teaching experience is an added advantage.
