Trinity Industries is searching for a dynamic Summer 2026 Maintenance Operations Intern at our HQ Office in Dallas, TX!
The intern will support the development of a standardized strategy, toolset, and reporting methodology for pricing maintenance activities across the TrinityRail Maintenance Operations network. The project will focus on identifying billing discrepancies and uncovering opportunities to improve consistency and accuracy in repair billing. Successful outcomes will contribute to enhanced operational efficiency and optimized gross margins for the maintenance facilities.
What You Will Do:
- Gain hands-on experience in data analysis, process documentation, project management, and operational support
- Collaborate with various personnel from Operations, Accounting, and Customer Service
- Exposure to operational strategy, financial systems, and project coordination in a dynamic business environment
- Data collection & analysis, developing reporting methodology, process documentation, cross-departmental collaboration, presentation of findings to leadership with proposed actions
What You Will Need:
- Pursuing a degree in Business, Management, Operations, Business Analytics
Able to travel to Saginaw and Fort Worth, TX maintenance facilities
