About this role

Trinetix is looking for a skilled General QA Engineer. 

You will be working in a direction that is primarily focused on high-tech developments for the US client in the consulting and financial domains. All projects are aimed at optimizing business processes, ensuring maximum efficiency in work, and helping the client to automate and improve their internal processes. Our team specializes in the use of advanced technologies and, at certain stages of project development, actively utilizes the latest advances in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). 

Your future dynamic and friendly team consists of: Developers (Back-end and Front-end), QA Engineers, Application Architect, Technical Delivery Managers and Business Systems Analysts. 

 

Requirements 

 

  • 2+ years of web applications testing 
  • Experience in mobile applications testing (iOS / Android) 
  • 1+ years of experience in automation testing (Playwright) 
  • Strong knowledge of software testing types and the ways to apply them 
  • Experience in requirements analysis, effort estimating, and task scheduling 
  • Solid knowledge of client-server architecture and API 
  • Experience with testing Cloud-based, microservice solutions testing 
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues, investigate root causes of bugs 
  • Ability to set own tasks and organize work efficiently 
  • Excellent communication skills, analytical and troubleshooting abilities 
  • Intermediate+ level of English 
  • Experience with at least 1 task tracking tool (preferable TFS or Jira) 
  • Deep understanding of Agile Software Development methodology (SAFe/Scrum) 

 

Nice-to-haves

 

  • Experience with performance/load testing 
  • Strong knowledge in Postman/Swagger 
  • Experience with version control systems 
  • Basic knowledge of any programming language with engineering background. 
  • Basis test automation skills 

 

Core Responsibilities 

 

  • Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications 
  • Be responsible for automated testing on additional projects as required, including future initiatives 
  • Develop test cases, test scripts and acceptance criteria to ensure adequate test coverage 
  • Report bugs and discrepancies discovered to developers 
  • Analyze test data and validate information in databases when needed
