Position Summary

The Intern, Workstation at TriNet is tasked with executing high-impact, real-world business projects and driving tangible business outcomes through direct, hands-on contribution to team deliverables. This role requires actively applying and refining skills, collaborating cross-functionally, and receiving dedicated mentorship to gain invaluable practical experience within a supportive corporate environment.

What you will do

  • Take ownership of high-impact projects to gain essential technical and business expertise.
  • Develop agility and problem-solving skills by tackling complex challenges and adapting to change.
  • Benefit from dedicated mentorship with seasoned professionals and receive leadership exposure.
  • Work within a dynamic, inclusive culture that fosters strong collaboration and diverse perspectives.
  • Document fixes and promote to corporate knowledge base. Understand where inconsistencies are within processes or the environment and bring forward ideas on how to gain consistency. Lead some of these efforts into use. 
  • Provide and inventory hardware for new/terminated users. 
  • Enforce company IT standards and policies. Identify areas that should be considered for updates to standards and policies. Participate in the definition of new standards. 

Education Qualifications

  • Junior or Senior undergrad or graduate students
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA

Experience Qualifications

A proactive team player who can work independently and as part of a team.

  • Previous internship/work experience preferred
  • Academic leadership or extra-curricular activity involvement preferred
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong Microsoft Windows and/or Mac support skills required
  • Working knowledge with all types of client-side hardware (notebook systems, desktop systems, tablets, smart phones, printers and peripherals) 
  • Experience with programming/scripting languages (Perl/PowerShell). 
  • Experience with virtual desktop technologies. (Citrix, Azure, VMware, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities

The preferred location for this role is Atlanta, GA, and the salary range for this location is $23.00 to $38.00 per hour. All qualified external applicants will be considered for an in-office role, based in Atlanta. All qualified internal candidates are encouraged to apply and consider relocation to Atlanta and may be considered for remote hire at the company’s discretion. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.
