In the Field Systems segment at Trimble, GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) technology plays a crucial role in enhancing field operations. What You Will Do

  • To design, develop, implement, debug, support and maintain application software for high end GNSS receivers.

  • Perform testing and debugging.

  • Write software that can be deployed on multiple operating systems and hardware platforms.

  • Support the ongoing legacy and next generation software development.

  • Specify and define software architecture that can be deployed on multiple operating systems and hardware platforms.

  • Collaborate directly with the Sunnyvale firmware team as an extended team member.

  • Collaborate with global operations.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • Experience working in Embedded System, and real-time operating systems.

  • Expertise on working with C on 32/64-bit embedded microprocessors.

  • Very good understanding of  real time primitives like mutex, semaphores, task priorities etc.

  • Strong grasp of real-time operating system (RTOS) primitives, including mutexes, semaphores, and task priorities.

  • Good understanding of networking and communication protocols.

  • Capable of reading and understanding hardware schematics.

  • Understands the best practices of cyber security.

  • Knowledge of embedded linux and linux distributions.
