Wilson Engineers is an Arizona-based firm with a staff of more than 200+ personnel specializing in water and wastewater engineering and construction management services. We are seeking an experienced {Job Title} to join our team. This position requires 40 hours per week in our Tempe office. (This job is not remote.)


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


• Work independently on large projects and/or assist electrical and civil engineers as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Manage electrical designs, prepare reports, develop plans, prepare specifications, and cost estimates for various water and wastewater infrastructure projects, permitting and alternative analysis.
• Prepare, coordinate, and monitor projects from initial conception to final completion.
• Monitor compliance of project to ensure industry codes and practices are adhered to and performance standards met.
• Work in a team environment with the work involving studies, detailed design and engineering services during construction.
• Give direction to a team to complete design tasks and elements.
• Ability to read and understand SLDs, P&IDs and control schematics is a plus.
• Knowledge of NFPA 101 and NFPA 820.
• Experience in managing construction shop drawing reviews, request for information (RFI) field inspection, start-up and commissioning.
• Experience managing and interpreting power system coordination studies. 
• Manage the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, instrumentation, and automation. 



Requirements

• Business or Electrical Engineering Degree.
• Proven experience in electrical project management, with a focus on wastewater treatment plants or similar industrial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, electrical codes, and standards.
• Demonstrated experience working and managing projects in the field of Water and Wastewater is preferred. 
• Experience with and understanding of construction-related engineering services with the ability to manage Shop Drawing Review process, and management of RFIs and Engineer’s Directives, etc.
• Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software capabilities.
