About this role
Tri-City Group is seeking Electrical Helpers or “Unindentured Apprentices” for openings in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Main duties include but are not limited to:
- Performing material handling on the job site
- Installing and bending conduit using manual, mechanical, and hydraulic benders
- Perform wire and cable pulls
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the construction or electrical industry is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with electrical tools and machinery
- Reliable transportation to get to the construction site and from job to job
- Regular attendance, timeliness when given tasks, and arrival to work on time - Required
- Ability to follow safety protocols, OSHA requirements, and wear PPE (Safety gear) on site
- Desire to learn in a hands-on environment with an awareness of other job site activities
- Attention to detail, and ability to follow instruction
All job offers are contingent upon the successful completion of a drug screen, and reference check. Applicants will need to supply their own steel/composite-toed shoes. Tri-City Group is an equal-opportunity employer.
