We are seeking a skilled and passionate Software Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team. In this role, you will be a key part of our engineering organization, responsible for building and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-quality testing frameworks and automation solutions. You will work closely with developers/ DevOps engineers to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our software products.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automated testing frameworks, tools, and infrastructure to support a continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.

  • Create and execute automated and manual tests for new and existing features, including integration, API, and end-to-end tests.

  • Collaborate with software engineers to integrate test automation into the software development life cycle (SDLC).

  • Analyze and troubleshoot test failures, identify root causes, and work with the development team to resolve defects.

  • Advocate for quality best practices and contribute to a culture of quality throughout the engineering organization.

  • Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system scalability and reliability.

  • Mentor and guide other engineers on test automation and quality assurance principles.

  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in software testing and quality assurance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 1+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in Test, SDET, or a similar role.

  • Extensive experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or others.

  • Deep understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar platforms.

  • Proficiency in testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or by building custom automation.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI-powered testing tools or frameworks (e.g., Applitools, Testim, mabl) to enhance test creation, maintenance, and visual validation.

  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust).

  • Familiarity with security testing concepts and tools.

  • Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

  • Knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
