In this role, you'll:
You’ll provides strategic, operational, and specialist leadership to manage a portfolio of priority of government programs and projects by supporting the full lifecycle of program and project services from design to delivery through monitoring and acquittal, ensuring timely and effective delivery of outcomes.
You’ll drive financial sustainability and operational effectiveness by overseeing program governance, compliance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement in partnership with Delivery Partners, Regional and Sydney Integration teams and other Branches or Divisions as required.
You’ll lead the end-to-end management and delivery of high profile and high-risk programs from inception to acquittal, including system establishment (eg One Grant Management System), design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
These 2 permanent positions are located at the Elizabeth Street, Sydney office. The role is governed by our hybrid working model, which forms part of the organisation’s Flexible Working Arrangements and associated procedures. This includes a combination of required onsite attendance at the Sydney office and approved remote working.

About you
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience, you’ll have demonstrated experience at senior management level, in a large complex organisation with proven success in the delivery of large and complex projects and programs, on time and within budget.
You’ll have strong understanding of program and project management frameworks, including compliance with funding and reporting requirements and an ability to manage risks, issues, and changes effectively within a program environment.
You’ll have demonstrated experience in economic analysis and evaluation methods for program management within an integrated portfolio.
You’ll have experience developing and maintaining strong collaborative working relationships to meet stakeholders’ expectations.
