In this role, you'll:
Deliver high quality, high value, timely and solutions-focused legal services and independent advice to Transport for NSW and other agencies in the Transport portfolio principally in the areas of privacy, regulatory compliance, investigations, prosecutions, and administrative law but also in relation to general regulatory matters.
You will be instrumental in providing legal advice to Transport in relation to privacy impacts and compliance, legislation and supporting governance.
This permanent position is available in a hybrid working model which are aligned with our Flexible Working Arrangements procedures which offers hybrid arrangements subject to approvals including having a mix two to three days in our Elizabeth Street office as well as remote working.

About you
You will be a seasoned lawyer with at least six years’ PQE demonstrated experience working with a high degree of autonomy in forming legal views and providing expert legal services.
You’ll possess an elevated standard of integrity and professional conduct, you will collaborate with ease, have advanced written and verbal communication skills to convey legal concepts clearly and succinctly as well as influence effectively.
Ideally, you have knowledge of Government regulatory frameworks, however experience working within the government sector is not required if you are confident in applying legislation in a variety of contexts.
It is essential that you hold a current practicing certificate in NSW.
