You’re someone who wants to create outcomes that have a real impact on the people of NSW.
You've been looking for an opportunity to influence policies, initiatives, and projects that can improve the lives of millions of people.
In this role, you'll:
Working as part of a team delivering strategic Federal program and investment management including reporting, governance, funding proposals and assurance across Transport for NSW, ensuring compliance with the Federation Funding Agreement and supporting the delivery of Australia's largest infrastructure investment program.
This role will see you lead the day-to-day management of the relationship with the Australian Government and internal customers relating to the reporting on approved projects in the Federal Infrastructure Investment Program, working across all program areas in the Transport Cluster in the collection, consolidation, analysis and review of project level financial and technical information relevant to the Australian Government.
You’ll engage in high-level stakeholder management, influence investment decisions, and contribute to strategic planning, risk management, and continuous improvement. Development opportunities include leading a high-performing team, shaping federal relations strategy, and driving innovation in reporting and governance.
You will broker new ways of working and improved efficiencies in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment involving Federal and State government agencies, as well as internal teams at Transport for NSW.
Working arrangements are hybrid with 2 to 3 days per week in the Sydney Elizabeth St office.

Your leadership, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills, formed across infrastructure delivery, government relations, and financial and project level reporting, will see you excel in navigating compliance requirements, overcoming competing stakeholder agendas, and delivering accurate and timely reporting that supports strategic investment decisions.
You're recognised as a strategic thinker and collaborative leader, skilled at managing relationships, analysing program performance data, developing team capability, experienced in infrastructure reporting, and operating in politically sensitive environments.
A background in infrastructure, construction or large-scale project environments; knowledge of government financial reporting frameworks and governance processes and advanced data analytics and visualisation capabilities will be highly valued.
