In this role, you'll:
Join the Contract & Corridor Management Team, of the Prioritisation & Asset Management Branch Division that drives strategic assessment and challenge to facilitate decision making for the prioritisation of customer and asset priorities through robust portfolio performance and investment oversight. Acts as Transport’s Asset Custodian and technical authority that drives asset management, innovation, optimisation and asset outcomes for whole of life transport asset portfolio.
Reporting to the Director Contract & Corridor Management and supported by a high-performing team, you will lead the commercial management of key rail infrastructure contracts, ensuring disciplined financial governance, transparent reporting, and strong performance outcomes across a complex, multi modal transport environment.
Partner closely with the Contract & Corridor Management team and collaborate with the Transport Asset Management (TAM) to secure funding, manage commercial compliance, and align financial processes to strategic asset needs.
Oversee end to end commercial cycles - budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and payment oversight, while responding to asset team enquiries and advising on complex contract variations.
Build trusted relationships across Transport, providing senior level commercial advice and contributing to high impact decisions that enable safe, efficient, customer centred transport services.
This is a full-time Ongoing (Perm) Transport Senior Service Manager TSSM level role.
