Your purpose is clear, and you believe in empowering your team through collaboration and building trust.
You've been looking for an opportunity to influence policies, initiatives, and projects that can improve the lives of millions of people.
In this role, you'll:
Work as part of a small, specialist Legal and Governance team delivering prosecution quality assurance, data driven analysis and continuous improvement activities that support strong regulatory and prosecution outcomes across Transport for NSW.
This role will see you review prosecution briefs and court outcomes, analyse prosecution performance data, identify trends and capability gaps, and design targeted solutions such as process improvements, training interventions and quality controls. You’ll play a critical problem solving role that sits behind the scenes of prosecution work, ideal for those who enjoy analysis, insight and influence rather than courtroom advocacy, while also providing leadership and development opportunities within a niche legal function.
You will lead improved quality, consistency and decision making in a complex and high volume regulatory environment, balancing competing priorities while ensuring prosecutions are supported by strong evidence, sound governance and best practice processes.

About you
Your legal expertise, analytical approach and people leadership capability, formed across prosecution, regulatory, government or legal practice environments, will see you excel in assessing complex matters, interpreting data and court outcomes, and translating insights into practical improvements that lift capability and performance.
You’re recognised as a strong problem solver and trusted advisor, skilled at identifying issues early, influencing stakeholders, and communicating findings clearly to support better decision making. You hold a practising certificate with at least 5 years post qualified experience. You will have a background in quality assurance, compliance, governance or prosecution related roles, along with the confidence to guide teams, manage performance and deliver continuous improvement in a fast paced, risk sensitive setting.
