The Port Royale (est. 2006) - Port Royale Marina is our flagship location on Lake Lanier. Offering premier boating, rentals, and full-service amenities that create an unbeatable on-the-water experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Personnel management of the rental staff, including: Hiring, Training and development, Scheduling, Performance reviews and recommendations for improvement and/or terminations, Employee progress and development tracking, Commendation and reward for employees who achieve measurable goals.
- Supervise, recommend, and perform general maintenance of the entire rental fleet, including effective damage control management to minimize down time on each rental unit by promptly scheduling and completing repairs as necessary.
- Manage the gas island facilities, including the daily gas inventory upkeep and log reporting.
- Maintain retail inventory including stocking, ordering, receiving, pricing and any adjustments required by the daily operation of the shipping store.
- Supervise the operations of the gas island, the ship store, and the point-of-sale system to accurately open, close and balance registers, as well as completing inventory item maintenance and updates.
- Perform and supervise proper cash-handling processes, including the preparation and transmittal of bank deposits and the posting of transactions to the accounting system.
- Provide leadership and be a valued resource to both customers and employees concerning all aspects of the boat rental operation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide proper documentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, reach overhead, and work in confined spaces.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Must be able to swim.

Compensation:
- Ranging from $20 to $22 an hour with the eligibility to receive a profit-sharing bonus each year. Required 5-day work week with in-season weekend and holidays mandatory.
