Description
Tradesmen International is looking to expand our team of qualified Sheet Metal Duct Installers of all skill levels for current & future projects in and around Fort Lauderdale, FL. Most positions are first shift with a pay range of up to $30/hour based on experience & skill level. Job Scope:
- Select types of sheet metal according to building or design plans
- Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets
- Hang & Fabricate Ductwork
- Drill holes in metal for screws, bolts, and rivets
- Install & cut metal sheets with supportive frameworks
- Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites
- Maneuver and anchor large sheet metal parts
- Fasten seams or joints by welding, bolting, riveting, or soldering
- Fabrication On-Site or in Shop
- Setting Hangers
- Trim, Fit, Hang and Seal Ductwork
Requirements:
- Previous Sheet Metal experience
- Tools for the Trade
- Proper PPE must be worn
- OSHA-10 preferred

What you'll do
- The Sheet Metal Duct Installer will select types of sheet metal according to building or design plans, measure and mark dimensions, and fabricate ductwork. Responsibilities also include installing and cutting metal sheets, fastening seams, and altering parts at construction sites.
