Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Rolling Mill Operators for projects located in or around Sandy, OR. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay range is $30-$35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Operating steel rolling machines
- Form 1inch thick steel sheets into a circular shape creating pipes & tanks
- Welding tasks using dual shield, MIG, TIG, and Flux core welding processes
- Maintain the rolling mill equipment and welding tools to ensure smooth and efficient operation
- Monitor material quality and thickness to meet required specifications
- Conduct routine inspections and perform minor maintenance on the rolling mill machine and welding equipment
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Rolling Mill Operator or in a similar manufacturing or metal fabrication role
- Must be proficient in welding using dual shield, MIG, TIG, and Flux core welding
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with manual rolling mill machines (non-CNC)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Ability to lift and maneuver steel sheets and materials safely
