Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Forklift Technician/Diesel Mechanic for projects located in the Noti, OR area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $30-33/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Forklift Technician/Diesel Mechanic and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

 

Job Scope:         

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair diesel-powered forklifts, vehicles, and heavy equipment
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs consistent with the expectations
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
  • Maintain accurate service, inspection, and repair records
  • Follow all safety policies and ensure equipment meets operational and compliance standards
  • Work closely with mill personnel to support daily production needs as a reliable fork lift mechanic or diesel mechanic

Requirements

  • Certification or proven hands-on experience as a fork lift mechanic or diesel mechanic
  • Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Must provide own basic tools
