Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Forklift Technician/Diesel Mechanic for projects located in the Noti, OR area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $30-33/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Inspect, maintain, and repair diesel-powered forklifts, vehicles, and heavy equipment
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs consistent with the expectations
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
- Maintain accurate service, inspection, and repair records
- Follow all safety policies and ensure equipment meets operational and compliance standards
- Work closely with mill personnel to support daily production needs as a reliable fork lift mechanic or diesel mechanic
Requirements
- Certification or proven hands-on experience as a fork lift mechanic or diesel mechanic
- Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Must provide own basic tools
