What You’ll Do
This role is ideal for new or early-career nurses with excellent NCLEX test taking skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for helping students succeed. This position focuses on coaching students to develop effective test taking strategies, building clinical judgment, and navigating NCLEX-aligned tools such as ATI or HES.
Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for:
Coach nursing students on NCLEX test‑taking strategies, question analysis, and clinical judgment. (Aligned with NCLEX Success Coach duties.)
Provide one-on-one and group sessions to build confidence and improve exam performance.
Support students in interpreting ATI or HESI results and using ATI or HESI study resources. (NCLEX-aligned conceptual guide support.)
Help students create individualized study plans and remediation outlines. Monitor student progress.
Deliver short workshops on study skills, time management, and exam preparation.
Maintain coaching notes and student interactions in a confidential and organized manner.
Collaborate with faculty to identify common content gaps and provide suggested strategies to support student mastery.
Help students create individualized study plans and remediation steps tied to ATI assessments or classroom exam results.
Support faculty-identified at‑risk students by providing structured follow‑ups and encouraging consistent engagement with study plans. Provide individual and group tutoring focused on NCLEX question analysis, rationales, and study planning.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate will have:
An active or eligible RN license.
An ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
A strong NCLEX performance (e.g., first-attempt pass or high proficiency with NCLEX-style items).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly teach clinical rationales.
Preference will all be given to individuals with experience in tutoring or mentoring peers in nursing school; familiarity with ATI, HESI, or other NCLEX preparation platforms; and experience in student support, coaching, or academic service.
