Who we’re looking for 

Toyota’s Tax Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Tax Analyst.

The primary responsibility of this role is to perform tax analysis and research.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Tax Strategy, the person in this role will support the Corporate Tax department's objective to proactively research and analyze tax opportunities for business decisions.

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Works independently - review, studies and identifies errors/concerns and research

  • Digs into detail and validate numbers before incorporating in analysis; places importance on accuracy before submitting work to manager

  • Proactively promotes and integrates Kaizen (continuous improvement) in all efforts

What you bring: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

  • Experience in Fortune 100 Corporate Tax Department

  • Strong analytical skills with experience looking at financial statements, data, and transactions and consolidating it to key metrics

  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently across all levels of the company

  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel including advanced functions such as vLookups, pivot tables, data analysis tools, and complex formulas

Added bonus if you have:  

  • Graduate Degree with emphasis in Tax

  • Public Accounting experience

  • CPA License (or have started the exam process)

  • Big IV Accounting firm experience

  • Experience in continuous improvement using transformational technology and strong skills in systems similar to SAP, PowerBI, CorpTax, Alteryx, etc.

  • SQL scripting skills
