Our Business Support teams enable our trading and engineering teams to perform at their best.</p> <p>At Tower, employees will find a stimulating, results-oriented environment where highly intelligent and motivated colleagues inspire each other to reach their greatest potential.</p> <h3><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Designing and implementing a low latency high-frequency trading platform, which includes collecting quotes and trades from and disseminating orders to exchanges around the world</li> <li>Assisting in the development of a tick by tick backtesting research platform</li> <li>Assisting in development and optimizing large-scale parallel computation problems that requires large quantities of data shared across resources</li> <li>Optimizing the computational efficiency of existing machine learning based algorithms to drive higher performance and faster learning rates</li> <li>Developing systems, interfaces and tools to historical market data and trading simulations that increase research productivity</li> <li>Creating tools to analyze data and generate insights that research decisions are based on</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Requirements</strong></h3> <ul> <li>A degree in Computer Science or a related field</li> <li>Solid practical experience with Python and C++ development</li> <li>A strong background in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming</li> <li>Experience in developing or working with any cloud computing framework is a plus</li> <li>Good experience with Bash and Linux</li> <li>Brilliant detail oriented problem-solving abilities</li> <li>A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and own problems</li> <li>The ability to manage multiple tasks and make decisions in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Strong communication skills in English for business purposes</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Benefits</strong></h3> <p>Tower’s headquarters are in the historic Equitable Building, right in the heart of NYC’s Financial District and our impact is global, with over a dozen offices around the world.&nbsp;</p> <p>At Tower, we believe work should be both challenging and enjoyable.
