About this role
We are hiring for the following positions:
- Full Time Night Shift
- Part Time: Weekend Day Shift
- Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
- Deliver excellent nursing care through evaluations, planning, implementation, and documentation while serving a diverse patient population with complex concerns.
- Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
- Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
The intensive care unit:
- 24-bed unit, with a MICU and SICU wing, operated on a 24-hour basis.
- This nursing area provides care to adult patients. Admission diagnoses include but are not limited to acute MI/ACS, heart failure, lethal dysrhythmias, acute respiratory failure, shock, acute neurological disorders and high risk or complicated post-operative patients requiring specialized monitoring and care.
- This unit also provides care to open heart patients, from the immediate post-operative period through IMC level of care until discharge.

Qualifications
Education Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
Experience
- 1 Year Critical Care Experience Preferred, 1 year of Acute Care Experience Required
Certifications and Licensure:
- PA Registered Nurse License
- BLS
- ACLS
