About this role

Job Summary

Tower Health, Phoenixville Hospital is seeking a full-time experienced Physician Assistant to join our Interventional Radiology team who will provide quality, patient centered care in our Pottstown and Phoenixville locations.

 

This position includes a host of responsibilities including:

  • Schedule: Mon-Fri
  • Provide in patient and out-patient services in our Pottstown and Phoenixville IR Suite
  • The Interventional Radiology Advance Practice Provider (APP) shall work under the direction of the Interventional Radiology Physicians in both a consultative and procedural role.
  • APP’s procedural responsibilities primarily include performing paracenteses and thoracenteses.
  • PICC line placement
  • There will be call associated with this position 

*All applicants must be certified, with an active Professional Pennsylvania license.  

BLS and ACLS must be current.

  • Physician Assistant degree or
  • Nurse Practitioner degree


Experience

  • Relevant Experience
  • 1 year IR Preferred

Certification and Licensure

  • ACLS Certification
  • BLS Certification
  • PA DEA License
  • DOT Medical Examiner Certification
  • PA Physician Assistant License
  • NCCPA Certification
  • Current Valid Driver's License

Phoenixville Hospital is a 144-bed facility that provides comprehensive medical services through emergency room visits, inpatient admissions, outpatient procedures and community outreach programs. Pottstown Hospital is a 213-bed hospital that offers a full range of health services, including inpatient and outpatient, medical and surgical, and diagnostic and emergency care. Pottstown Hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission and has been recognized for its quality outcomes and clinical expertise across many service lines. Its cancer program is nationally recognized. The hospital also is a Primary Stroke Center; Joint Commission-certified for hip and knee replacement and Heart Failure certified.
