Store Manager - Lead our Indianapolis Store Team!

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As Store Manager, you oversee the day-to-day operations of the Indianapolis, IN location, leading and developing a high-performing team while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Hire, train, coach, evaluate, and manage Counter Sales, Warehouse, and Delivery Driver branch employees.
  • Foster a customer-focused environment through strong product knowledge, service standards, and consistent customer engagement.
  • Ensure sales floor and warehouse are well-stocked, organized, clean, and operating efficiently.
  • Oversee shipping, receiving, inventory accuracy, and daily cycle counts.
  • Monitor performance, address issues, and actively recruit top talent.
  • Lead by example by performing all store functions as needed.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and promote daily employee engagement and development.
 
PAY RANGE:
$60-$70k per year, based on experience, with bonus eligibility.
 
SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm.
 
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:
  • Experience managing, mentoring and coaching a team of employees.
  • 2+ years of management experience is required.
  • Construction industry experience or knowledge is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to keep your team informed and connected.
  • Highly motivated.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to stand on a hard surface for extended periods of times.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs on a daily basis.
