This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals in supply chain, logistics and procurement management to develop their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Supply Chain Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our supply chain, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and issue purchase orders and follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery.</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts, invoices, and receipts.</p></li><li><p>Assist in planning and coordinating transportation of goods to minimize costs and delays.</p></li><li><p>Track shipments and address any logistical challenges that arise during transit.</p></li><li><p>Support the management of customs clearance processes for import/export goods.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to optimize supply chain processes.</p></li><li><p>Conduct regular inventory audits and manage stock levels to meet operational requirements.</p></li><li><p>Provide support in analyzing supply chain performance and identifying areas for improvement.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.</p></li><li><p>Inventory Management:<span>&nbsp; </span>Assist in optimize stock availability to minimize excess and ensure timely delivery.</p></li><li><p>Logistics and Transportation:<span>&nbsp; </span>Assist in coordination of the movement of goods, ensuring efficient and cost-effective transportation and distribution.</p></li><li><p>Data Reporting:<span>&nbsp; </span>Collect, analyze, and report on supply chain data.</p></li><li><p>Procurement:<span>&nbsp; </span>Assist in Sourcing materials and negotiating with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.</p></li><li><p>Communication:<span>&nbsp; </span>Assist in Collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain operations.</p></li></ul><p><span>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span>To work on any tasks the supervisor assigns when deemed necessary.</p><p></p><p><span><strong>Technical Supply Chain skills</strong></span></p><p><span>-<strong>Communication</strong>- effective all-rounder communication skills.</span></p><p><span>-<strong>Teamwork &amp; Negotiation skills </strong>– Collaborations in the process with stakeholders.</span></p><p><span>-<strong>Demand / Supplier Management</strong>- multi-sourcing strategy skills with limited dependency on one</span></p><p><span>supplier.</span></p><p><span>-<strong>Order Processing</strong>-Well organized order setting, database management.</span></p><p style="text-align:justify;"><span>-<strong>Inventory Management and Optimization-In stock inventory management-</strong> Oversee or handle warehouse inventory through accurate stock recording, timely order processing and stock replenishment, and coordinate workflows to optimize warehouse and supply chain efficiency.</span></p><p><span>-<strong>Industry Updates</strong> - knowledge of current practices and regulations.</span></p><p></p><p><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s Degree in Supply-Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.</p></li><li><p>A minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in supply chain (Procurement, Logistics, Import-Export).</p></li><li><p>Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.</p></li><li><p>Ability and willingness to travel when required.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.</p></li><li><p><span>A financial background is a plus.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Possession of COC certification is a plus.</span></p></li></ul><p style="text-align:justify;"><strong>Technical Skills:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with inventory management software and working experience in ERP-{D360} systems is a plus.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills to work effectively with vendors and internal teams.</p></li></ul><p><strong><br>How To Apply</strong></p><div><p><strong>NOTES-</strong></p><ul><li><p>The Position is open to Ethiopian Nationals only.</p></li><li><p>The placement date for the position shall be effective <strong>FEBRUARY 2026GC.</strong></p></li><li><p><strong>Location</strong> – TSE Factory/HQ, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia</p></li><li><p><strong>Salary</strong> – Attractive</p></li><li><p><strong>Application Period</strong> – 07 days from the date of post.</p></li><li><p>All the applicants must be based locally and have the rights to work in Ethiopia.</p></li><li><p>All applicants must attach relevant educational, experience testimonials, project and Training Certifications in a<strong> PDF format </strong>to the specified email.</p></li></ul></div><p><strong><em><br></em></strong></p><p><em>TOPPAN is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
