The Logistics & Warehouse Operator will work within the Logistics & Support team. He/she will report to the Logistics Manager and will have to deal with the management of the warehouse and of the handling of incoming and outgoing goods, the sorting, the packing, the filling and the checking of the correlated fiscal and administrative documentation.
Main duties and responsibilities
Incoming goods
He/she checks that the incoming goods correspond to the invoices and transport documentation attached
He/she inspects the goods to make sure they are not damaged
He/she refuses the damaged loads according to the company’s procedures
He/she accepts the delivery, signs the receipts and carries out the correlated administrative procedures
He/she sorts and stores the goods in the warehouse, also by means of trolleys
Outgoing goods
He/she collects and prepares the material for the shipments, takes care of the packing, makes sure that all goods are ready by the time scheduled
He/she coordinates the pick-ups of the suppliers
He/she makes sure that the products are consistent with the documentation provided by the Administration
He/she interacts with the carriers, the shippers and the deliverers who deal with the deliveries and pick-ups of the goods
He/she keeps updated the internal registers and participates to the warehouse inventory activities (on the premises and remotely), checks the stock and points out the material to be supplied, together with the Administration
