Job Description
Objective
Within our Silvercote business, the role of Production Associate is to safely produce a quality product according to the guidelines of a customer’s work order in a team environment with other operators. This role requires cross training on various aspects of a lamination machine’s operation, and it is vital to the success of our business, as Production Associates are ensuring that our customers’ orders are correct and undamaged.
Essential Job Functions
Assist in the operation of a laminator machine to ensure that products are laminated in accordance with quality standards
Verify that facing, fiberglass, and tabs meet work order requirements by visually inspecting the products
Machine setup, change overs, facing changes, machine start up and shut down
Basic machine troubleshooting
Properly unload and bag finished product rolls off the lamination machine
Accurately cut down rolls on band saw to customer’s specifications
Maximize product output daily in a very fast-paced environment
Maintain a clean and safe work area and report any issues/concerns to management
Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures
Recognize substandard product – quality standards for each product as defined
Requirements
High school diploma or GED is required
Minimum of 1-year experience in a manufacturing work environment
Prior forklift experience is preferred
Proven track record of good attendance and being on time according to work schedule
Physical Requirements
The work is performed in non-climate controlled environment with moderate noise level. This job frequently requires the employee to stand; walk; sit; use hands; climb stairs; climb portable ladders to heights of up to 15 ft.; balance; stoop; kneel; push; pull; reach overhead; read; talk or hear. The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions. The employee should never attempt to lift more than 50 pounds.
Compensation Range
$13.00 - $30.00The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
