Job Description
SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting various in-house development projects. This includes developing customizations, interfaces, reports, and applying upgrades and patches. Operates in a customer-focused Shared Services environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Key duties include the design and development of application.
- Implement new functionality and create automated interfaces with internal and external systems.
- Work with technical functional analysts to identify technical requirements, functional tests, system/user acceptance tests, and implementation.
- Assist with the development of the technical architecture of the various applications.
- Responsible for on-going support and various in-house development projects.
- This includes developing customizations, interfaces and reports.
- Supervisory or Management Responsibility – Not responsible for supervising (hiring, firing, performance reviews or corrective action) others.
- Budget Responsibility – Has no budget responsibility.
- Decision-Making Level and Scope – Decisions generally affect own job or specific functional area.
- Independence of Action – Work is closely monitored by supervisor/manager. Detailed instructions and procedures are generally provided.
- Any other duty, task or responsibility as assigned
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
Minimum Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required. Master’s degree a plus
Special Certification or Licensing: IT certifications preferred
EXPERIENCE
Minimum experience: 10 years of total IT experience
Required Industry Experience: 5 years as a Technical Lead / Resource. 7 years’ experience in application development
Legal Age Requirements: At least 18 years of age
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Experience in large-scale end-to-end implementation, customizations and Data Conversion
- Experience in Security Design
- Specialized skills in the area of architecture design, installation and performance tuning
- Good functional knowledge.
- Experience in writing technical documentation
- Experience in report scheduling and distribution
- Experience in alternative technical and functional solutions
- High level of commitment to being an effective team player
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and planning skills

Amount of Travel Required: <10%
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work is performed in a typical office environment and may require standing, bending, lifting of boxes or packages under 10 lbs., and sitting for long periods of time.
Work requires regularly inputting/retrieving words or data into or from an automated/computer system.
Compensation Range:
$86,700.00 - $130,000.00The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
