About this role
Job Summary:
We are looking for a QA Fresher who is passionate about software quality and eager to learn testing methodologies. The candidate will work closely with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Understand product requirements and functional specifications
- Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
- Validate UI/UX, workflows, and application behavior
- Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and resolve issues
- Assist in preparing test cases, test scenarios, and test reports
- Participate in daily stand-ups and QA review meetings
- Learn and follow QA processes, standards, and best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Basic understanding of Software Testing concepts
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC
- Familiarity with manual testing techniques
- Basic knowledge of SQL is an added advantage
- Understanding of web and mobile applications
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Good to Have:
- Basic knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, Katalon Studio, etc.)
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Teams etc.)
- Exposure to API testing tools like Postman
- Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
