About You:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an appropriate business or technical field.
• At least 4 years of experience in production scheduling and procurement, preferably in a precision machining environment
• Knowledge of and experience in supply/demand planning and material sourcing modules within an ERP system
• Ability to identify and lead process improvements within the supply chain and planning process.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data driven decisions.
• Strong negotiation and planning skills
• General understanding of turning, milling, and grinding processes
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of company personnel, vendors and others
• Ability to demonstrate savings, timely delivery and adequate quality in the purchase of assigned items and services.

Primary Objective:

To ensure the availability of materials to production areas by both planning internal work center supplies and outsourcing material and service at external suppliers consistent with established quality, cost, inventory and delivery goal.
