About this role

Embark on a transformative journey as a Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab, anchored in Corvallis, Oregon, with a compelling travel assignment that begins on 01/22/2026. This is your chance to influence cardiac care at the highest level, guiding patients through diagnostic and interventional procedures with skill, precision, and heartfelt teamwork. In the cath lab, you’ll support physicians during complex interventions such as diagnostic angiography, PCI, and EP studies, ensuring patient safety, optimal hemodynamics, and streamlined recovery. The work is demanding, fast-paced, and deeply rewarding, offering you a platform to refine critical nursing competencies while witnessing tangible patient outcomes. And when you’re not in the lab, Oregon’s famed beauty awaits—lush forests, the scenic Cascade foothills, the Willamette Valley’s vineyards, and easy access to the Oregon coast—inviting you to unwind, recharge, and reconnect with what inspires your best nursing. Corvallis itself blends small-town warmth with collegiate energy, offering outdoor recreation, cultural events, and a supportive community that makes every shift feel purpose-driven.

Location benefits go beyond the base you call home. In Corvallis, you’ll be part of a thriving medical ecosystem with modern cath lab facilities, team-oriented leadership, and a patient population that benefits daily from compassionate, evidence-based care. The region grants you a high quality of life, practical conveniences, and a welcoming environment that supports work-life balance. Moreover, the opportunity to work across various locations in the U.S. opens doors to diverse clinical settings, acuity levels, and patient demographics, enriching your expertise and expanding your professional network. When you’re stationed in Corvallis, you’ll enjoy a stable community with excellent schools, safe neighborhoods, and easy access to outdoor adventures—from hiking and biking along river trails to winter retreats in nearby mountains. Our program also emphasizes flexible options, enabling subsequent assignments in other cities or regions as your career goals evolve. You’ll receive housing assistance and a streamlined relocation process, ensuring you can focus on clinical excellence from day one.

Role specifics and benefits center on growth, impact, and the security you deserve. In this Cath Lab RN role, you’ll be responsible for patient assessment before, during, and after cath procedures; scrubbing in and assisting with catheterization, device delivery, and imaging guidance; maintaining sterile technique and patient safety through meticulous monitoring of vital signs, rhythm, and sedation levels; preparing and managing equipment, anticoagulation protocols, and contrast administration under physician guidance; documenting procedures accurately in the electronic medical record; coordinating with anesthesia, imaging, and post-procedure units to ensure smooth transitions of care; and participating in quality improvement initiatives and in-service education to keep practices aligned with the latest evidence. You’ll have continual opportunities for professional growth: pursuing cath lab–specific certifications, expanding into PCI or EP subspecialties, taking on preceptor duties for new staff, and positioning yourself for extended contract periods that reflect your performance and reliability. In terms of benefits, you’ll receive competitive compensation with a sign-on or completion bonus, housing assistance to ease relocation, and the chance to extend your contract based on clinical demand and mutual satisfaction. You’ll also enjoy comprehensive support, including 24/7 access to our clinical and payroll teams while you travel with the company, ensuring that help and resources are always available when you need them. The assignment includes guaranteed 40 hours per week, with a weekly pay range of 2,977 to 3,066, subject to final contract details. Note that the hours and pay rates provided are estimates and may vary; final compensation packages and guaranteed hours will be confirmed during the hiring process. The duration is presented in weeks, with the actual length defined by staffing needs and agency scheduling.
