Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of new product ideas and concepts for our jewellery line
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for new product development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, production, and marketing to bring new products to market
- Manage the entire product development process from concept to launch, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to source materials and negotiate pricing
- Monitor and track product performance and make recommendations for improvements or changes
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products to inform product development strategies
- Train and mentor junior team members to ensure their growth and development within the company
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development, preferably in the jewellery industry
- Strong understanding of market trends and consumer behavior
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven track record of successfully launching new products and driving sales growth
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and product development software
- Willingness to travel for market research and supplier meetings as needed
