About this role

We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in building, managing, and automating our AWS infrastructure, CI/CD. Redis, MongoDB and more. As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate closely with engineering teams.


Responsibilities

  • Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based production system and infrastructure.
  • Evaluation of new technology alternatives and vendor products.
  • System troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms.
  • Provision of critical system security by leveraging best practices and prolific cloud security solutions.
  • Providing recommendations for architecture and process improvements.
  • Definition and deployment of systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on AWS platform.
  • Designing, maintaining and management of tools for the automation of different operational processes.

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience in provisioning, operating, and managing AWS environments
  • Deep expertise in AWS services and cloud infrastructure
  • Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language - Python or Node.js is essential
  • Solid understanding of Linux operating systems
  • Proven experience in building highly automated infrastructure environments
  • Strong grasp of AWS security best practices and compliance standards
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Availability for on-call duty during weekends or holidays approximately once every 4 - 5 weeks
  • Hybrid work setup: two days per week at the Tel Aviv office (near Hashalom)
