About this role
We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in building, managing, and automating our AWS infrastructure, CI/CD. Redis, MongoDB and more. As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate closely with engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based production system and infrastructure.
- Evaluation of new technology alternatives and vendor products.
- System troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms.
- Provision of critical system security by leveraging best practices and prolific cloud security solutions.
- Providing recommendations for architecture and process improvements.
- Definition and deployment of systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on AWS platform.
- Designing, maintaining and management of tools for the automation of different operational processes.
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience in provisioning, operating, and managing AWS environments
- Deep expertise in AWS services and cloud infrastructure
- Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language - Python or Node.js is essential
- Solid understanding of Linux operating systems
- Proven experience in building highly automated infrastructure environments
- Strong grasp of AWS security best practices and compliance standards
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Availability for on-call duty during weekends or holidays approximately once every 4 - 5 weeks
- Hybrid work setup: two days per week at the Tel Aviv office (near Hashalom)
