Job DetailsJob Location: Field Reports to Corporate - Franklin, TN 37067Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $57,875.25 - $86,812.87 SalaryJob Purpose Statement The EDI Programmer/Analyst plays a key role in ensuring accurate, efficient, and reliable electronic data exchange across the organization. This position supports internal teams and external partners by managing EDI processes, maintaining integrations, and troubleshooting data issues to keep information flowing seamlessly between systems. The role combines technical expertise, problem solving, and strong communication skills to support business operations, enhance system performance, and contribute to successful product launches and ongoing improvements. This position is an individual contributor who works with several cross functional teams to ensure that business needs are properly addressed.   Success in this position will include detail orientation and solid lines of communication with stakeholders.   Essential Responsibilities/Duties: Serve as a key liaison between trading partners, clients, and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and effective coordination of all EDI related activities. Manage the intake, prioritization, and execution of EDI requests while maintaining reliable processes, applications, and documentation. Develop, enhance, and support EDI mappings, integrations, and interfaces; provide expert troubleshooting and resolve data or processing issues with accuracy and efficiency. Collaborate with Product Managers and third party partners to support new product launches, interface requirements, and testing activities. Work hands on with AS400, EDI communication protocols, and related technologies to support daily operations and continuous system improvement. Review and write RPG code and programs that translate EDI transactions into the Oracle JDE ERP system, ensuring data integrity and alignment with business needs. Support system upgrades, special projects, production monitoring, and ad hoc reporting while maintaining strong partnerships with internal and external users. Consistently meet or exceed service level expectations through proactive problem solving and a commitment to high quality data exchange. QualificationsEducation and Experience Required:   Bachelor’s degree in a related field or at least five years of hands on experience supporting EDI processes, order management, or related business systems. Proven experience in all facets of EDI, including transaction mapping, trading partner setup, testing, and implementation, with strong knowledge of X12, EDIFACT, flat file formats, and common supply chain transactions (such as 810, 850, 846, 855, 856, 940, 945, and others). Skilled in JDE EnterpriseOne 9.0 and familiar with relevant EDI and integration tools such as Cleo Lexicom, IBM Sterling, TrustedLink, and AS400 (preferred). Experience writing or modifying RPG code (RPG400, RPG Free, ILE/RPG, CLLE, Embedded SQL) and developing programs that translate EDI data to and from Oracle systems using flat file processes preferred. Comfortable working with FTP and sFTP protocols, FTP servers, and related communication technologies. Strong communicator with excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment. Highly collaborative, resourceful, and able to work independently while maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external partners. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.
