Sr. Sales Specialist

About the Role

In this opportunity as Sr. Sales Specialist, you will:

  • Collaborate with account executives during discovery to understand client challenges and objectives.
  • Deliver tailored demos of Legal Tracker, HighQ, CoCounsel, and partner solutions.
  • Translate technical features into clear business benefits for legal operations teams.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, statements of work, pricing quotes, and RFP responses.
  • Work closely with Product Management, Client Relations, IT Operations, and Marketing.
  • Provide feedback to product teams based on client interactions.
  • Represent Thomson Reuters at client meetings, webinars, and industry events.
  • Proven experience in corporate legal operations or legal technology consulting.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills for virtual and in-person engagements.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with SaaS solutions and enterprise integrations.
  • Proficiency with Legal Tracker, HighQ, and CoCounsel preferred.

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Sr. Sales Specialist if your background includes:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) preferred or equivalent experience in corporate legal operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Legal Studies, Information Technology, or related field.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in pre-sales or solution consulting within legal tech or enterprise software.
  • Experience supporting RFPs and complex solution proposals.
  • Knowledge of legal department workflows, compliance, and spend management.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The target total cash compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the target total cash compensation range for this role is $147,000 USD - $273,000 USD. Pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay and any target sales incentive are part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This is inclusive of both base pay and any target sales incentive.
