Job Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of the Food Services Manager and Registered Dietician, Dietary Aides assist in preparing and serving therapeutic diet meals, salads, and desserts in the health center
- Sets up and breaks down tables in health center dining rooms after meals
- Transports foods and supplies to and from the health center
- Maintains station equipment and work area in safe and sanitary condition.
- Works cooperatively with other food and beverage and nursing staff members in providing care and services to senior residents
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in food and nutrition operations in a health care setting preferred
Somerfield Health Center is a 5-star, 66-bed skilled nursing facility with 11 assisted living suites on the beautiful campus of The Heritage at Brentwood. We are seeking a hospitality-minded Nutrition Servers/Dietary Aides to assist in preparing and serving our health center residents. What you'll do
- Nutrition Servers assist in preparing and serving therapeutic diet meals and maintain a safe and sanitary work area. They also transport foods and supplies and work cooperatively with other staff members.
