As an Insurance Accounts Specialist, you will follow up on patient accounts and confirm the accuracy of those accounts to ensure payor and patient payments are received in an appropriate amount of time. This position is fully in-person and does not offer remote or hybrid opportunities.
Here's what might happen on a typical day…
In this role, you use your investigative skills to determine the reasoning for aging claims and recognize any trends among these aging claims. Your customer service skills will allow you to respectfully communicate with payors and compassionately work with our patients to collect payments.
While it can be challenging to balance persistence to resolve an account with empathy, your professionalism allows you to do just that!

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • High School diploma or equivalent required • Minimum two (2) years combined medical billing and payment experience required • Demonstrate knowledge of state, federal, and third party claims processing required • Demonstrate knowledge of state & federal collections guidelines • Must successfully complete required e-learning courses within 90 days of occupying position
