Position Title

Senior System Analyst

Position Summary / Career Interest:

To provide technical support for assigned applications.

Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
  • Perform technical application configuration and configure/run reports at user request
  • Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents programs or technical configuration
  • Interact with Business and Clinical representatives during the software build or configuration and test process
  • Communications effectively with all parties related to assigned process are and internal management
  • Identify and escalate critical issues in a timely manner
  • Participate in focus groups, workshops, committee meetings, and attend vendor training and demonstrations
  • Establish a consistent communication strategy with outside vendors/agencies and defines the associated deliverables
  • Work with Clinical and/or Business Analyst to understand the end user’s product specific requirements and configuration and translate them to technical design specifications and data flow from which programs are developed and coded
  • Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelors Degree Information Technology, Business Admin or related field; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 or more years healthcare IT experience.
  • 5 or more years extensive experience in providing technical support and maintenance in assigned product.

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Advanced degree in related field.

Preferred Licensure and Certification
  • Microsoft SQL Certification.
