Responsibilities
The Surgical Tech works under the supervision of the Charge Nurse and nursing staff while performing a variety of activities providing support for nursing staff within surgical services.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Graduation with a high school diploma.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Qualifications
- Time management skills.
- OR experience serving as an OR Assistant.
