About this role
Overview
The Squires Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to provide Microsoft Project Engineering support for our local client. This role is primarily remote, with occasional in-person company meetings and events within the DC metropolitan area. Candidates must be local to the DC area.
Responsibilities
Strong experience administering and troubleshooting the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including but not limited to SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, Entra ID, Intune, and related services.
Proven experience administering, deploying, and configuring Azure services, including Azure Compute, Azure Networking, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Windows 365, and Entra ID.
Experience configuring, managing, and monitoring Microsoft Defender XDR.
Hands-on experience supporting and delivering projects such as email migrations to Microsoft 365, SharePoint migrations, Entra ID migrations, Microsoft Intune configurations (including Mobile Device Management), and Microsoft Teams Phone deployments.
Experience with the configuration, administration, and deployment of firewalls, switches, and wireless access points (WAPs).
Ability to support and assist with onboarding new customers.
Willingness and ability to provide support desk assistance as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5+ years of customer service or service-industry experience.
Minimum of 5+ years of relevant engineering or technical experience working with Microsoft platforms and technologies.
4+ years of Managed Services Provider (MSP) experience is strongly preferred.
Microsoft Certications required.
