We’re looking for a Senior People & Culture Partner to help our people leaders create positive workplace experiences, drive organisational outcomes, and support the wellbeing of our blended workforce.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior People & Culture Partner, you will collaborate with managers to provide expert guidance on workforce management, ensuring effective issue resolution, policy compliance, and support for role design, planning, and capability development in a shared services environment. The position is full time, permanent opportunity will ideally be based in Blackburn with hybrid working arrangements.

Key responsibilities:

  • Partnering with Managers Across a Blended Workforce: Build trusted relationships to support effective management of employees and volunteers.
  • Advisory Support: Act as a key point of contact for managers, providing timely, practical advice on employee and volunteer-related matters within a shared service model.
  • Capability Building and Coaching: Coach and equip managers with tools and knowledge to confidently manage both employee and volunteer engagement, development, and performance.
  • Risk, Systems, and Compliance: Guide managers in applying risk and compliance frameworks for safe and effective workforce practices.
  • Service Delivery and Continuous Improvement: Collaborate on projects, change initiatives, and service enhancements that contribute to improved manager experience and workforce outcomes.

ABOUT YOU

Our ideal candidate will have strong generalist experience and be confident advising senior leaders, skilled in navigating complex employee matters, and committed to building leadership capability across an organisation.

Key Capabilities:

  • A degree qualification in HR, Business, Psychology or a related discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Understanding of volunteer management, risk and engagement principles.
  • Understanding of P&C practices, employee relations and compliance frameworks including awards, industrial instruments and relevant legislation.
