Business Operational Support – Darwin City

Use your exceptional organisational skills to support the Northern Territory Family Violence Services.

About the role

As the Business Operations Coordinator, you will provide high‑level administrative support to the Regional Manager and leadership teams of the Northern Territory Family Violence Services. You will oversee the coordination of business operations across these portfolios, ensuring smooth processes and compliance with Salvation Army policies and procedures.

This is a permanent full‑time role based in Darwin City, NT, with some travel required across multiple locations in the Darwin region.

How you will make an impact

  • Deliver efficient office administration and professional communication to support NT Family Violence Services.
  • Manage finance records, site registers, and compliance processes.
  • Coordinate HR, contracts, IT, property, and program expenses.
  • Support portfolio reporting, audits, and program submissions.
  • Provide line management to business operational support staff.
  • Contribute to service development initiatives through research, reporting, and project support.

What you will bring

  • Relevant business qualification such as Certificate IV or Diploma in Business Administration (desired).
  • Proficiency in IT systems and software, including the MS Office suite.
  • Strong organisational, time management, and administrative skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Exposure to the Family Violence, NFP, or community services sector will be highly regarded.
  • A current NT Driver’s Licence.
