Job Description:

Job Summary

The purpose of this role is to provide oversight of the client management software platform that is used to support the community service ministry of front-line units. The 3rd software platform currently being used is Link2Feed. The position plays a pivotal role in the successful day-to-day use of the platform while representing the organization with the vendor. It combines the ability to understand the technical details of client management software, while also being able to contribute to the overall strategic direction of it’s use, including but not limited to, incident management, change management and configuration management. This position works closely with the IT System Administrator as well as external non-government groups and organizations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert for The Salvation Army’s Clients and Programs Management System (Link2Feed), maintaining deep knowledge of application functionality, upgrades, and releases in coordination with IT.
  • Lead the strategic administration, optimization, and ongoing development of Link2Feed, establishing best practices and standards to strengthen organizational data management and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, data owners, custodians, and stewards on data governance, data sharing agreements, and enterprise-wide data policies.
  • Manage system development projects end-to-end, including business requirements gathering, release management, cross-functional impact analysis, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Design and execute testing strategies, including test plans, migration risk assessment, audit, reconciliation, exception reporting, and business sign-off.
  • Oversee data integrations, mapping, and reporting across systems (including SAMIS), with the ability to extract, analyze, and validate data for operational and strategic use.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Mission, IT, Link2Feed (vendor), and front-line users to ensure continuous system improvement and user-centered enhancements.
  • Lead data stewardship, reporting consistency, and enterprise data warehouse design and integration, while introducing new data management tools and developing supporting business cases.
  • Drive data quality and assurance initiatives, including standardization, duplicate client reduction, alignment across systems, and support for audits, evaluations, and outcome measurement.
  • Oversee user access, support, training, dashboards, and data visualization efforts—ensuring SLA adherence, secure access, effective training delivery, and meaningful insights through dashboards and reporting tools.

Education and Experience Qualifications

  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Management or a related field.
  • Certifications are an asset.
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience business experience in an organizational setting.
  • Hands-on experience with Information Management Systems
  • Technical experience with custom and/or third-party software applications.
  • Project management experience.
  • Computer literacy with word processing, spreadsheet, and database skills
  • Excellent working knowledge and experience in various software and reporting tools
  • Knowledge of data management, analysis and reporting systems

Compensation:

The target hiring range for this position is $81,170.48 to $101,463.10 with a maximum of $121,755.72.

Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
