The Research Associate is a .50 position and will support the design, implementation, and dissemination of research and evaluation projects in alignment with EDGE strategic grant funded projects. This role involves conducting literature reviews, collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, preparing reports and presentations, and contributing to scholarly publications and grant proposals. The Research Associate will collaborate closely with project leaders and external partners related to project. Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills are essential, along with a commitment to community and partner-engaged research practices.

Primary Responsibilities

Research Coordination: Conducting literature reviews, collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, preparing reports and presentations, and contributing to scholarly publications and grant proposals.

Research Tools: Create and actively participate in the creation of research tools and modules related to EDGE strategic grant funded projects.

External Collaboration: Collaborate closely with project leads and external partners related to project and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or 1 year of equivalent experience required.

5 years of relevant experience required with High School diploma or GED.

3 years of relevant experience required with Associate's Degree.

Compelling interpersonal skills

Strong communication and writing skills with the ability to produce a variety of data visualization skills accompanied by a strong proficiency in the use of both on-line tools

Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills required.

Desired Qualifications

  • Doctoral Degree and/or comparable work experience in administration, organizational management, research management, or communications
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience of research management or coordinator experience, preferably in a higher education setting
  • Demonstrable evidence of managing multiple detailed projects from conception and Eto delivery and evaluation and meeting deadlines and organizing and prioritizing assignments.
  • Center or institute experience
  • Curriculum development
