The Office Services Senior Coordinator performs essential non-clinical administrative functions which impact the operations of the Perioperative Department. This critical role provides the essential support to our daily operations; Works under minimal supervision; Determines and ensures that appropriate actions are taken to meet departmental goals and operational needs; Position emphasizes coordinating, organizing, evaluating, and facilitating information in different formats to accommodate a variety of customer needs; Works closely with Periop staff, surgeons, Revenue Management, Value Analysis, other Medical Center departments, and vendors and visitors entering the perioperative department.

  • Coordinating all vendor and visitor access to the Perioperative Department
  • Ensuring compliance with perioperative safety protocols and hospital policies
  • Managing Vendormate access and visitor badge issuance
  • Supporting tissue/implant documentation and patient communication
  • Monitoring supply use in real time and collaborating with the Value Analysis Team
  • Overseeing environmental monitoring and gas tank inventory

Full-Time Onsite new University Hospital

 Minimum Qualifications 

High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be preferred. 2 years of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and facilitation skills.  Demonstrated ability to initiate and complete projects.  Analytical skills and computer skills, including knowledge and use of spreadsheet and word processing software, electronic mail and the Internet. Ability to learn new systems software. Independent and self-motivated.

Additional Qualifications: Operating Room or Perioperative experience preferred.
