Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Strategic Design

  • M365 Strategy: Develop and maintain the roadmap for Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive).
  • Power Platform Architecture: Design and implement scalable Power Platform environments (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and establish data governance via Dataverse.
  • Governance & Compliance: Define governance frameworks for M365, including Teams, SharePoint, and Power Platform to manage lifecycle, guest access, and data security.
  • Information Protection: Implement and manage security measures within M365, including Purview, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Sensitivity Labels, and Threat Management.
  • System Integration: Architect integrations between Power Platform, M365 services, and third-party SaaS or line-of-business (LOB) applications. 

Functional Areas of Responsibility

  • Power Platform: Design citizen development guardrails, manage connectors, and build automation workflows (Power Automate).
  • Microsoft Teams & Exchange: Architect hybrid and cloud-only communication environments, focusing on Teams governance, meeting configurations, and Exchange Online security.
  • SharePoint Online: Lead SharePoint information architecture, including hub sites, modern site design, migration strategies from on-premises, and custom development (SPFx).
  • Automation: Leverage PowerShell and Graph API for complex automation tasks. 

Implementation & Operational Support

  • Migration Lead: Direct migration projects from legacy systems to M365.
  • Technical Authority: Act as the Level 3 subject matter expert for complex, high-impact issues.
  • Adoption & Change Management: Partner with stakeholders to drive adoption of new productivity tools and AI capabilities (Copilot). 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: 6 years of experience in IT architecture with a focus on Microsoft 365, specifically in large enterprise environments.
  • Core Technical Skills:
    • Deep expertise in Power Platform (Power Apps, Automate, Dataverse).
    • Proven experience in SharePoint Online and Teams administration and design.
    • Strong knowledge of Exchange Online.
    • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for identity and access management.
