Graduate Medical Education Senior Specialist

Department:

Medicine | Radiology

Residency Education Program Manager plans, administers and coordinates the Graduate Medical Education Program(s) and medical education programs in Radiology; coordinates preparation, completion and submission of all required reporting to the ACGME, ABR, AAMC, institutional GME, and any other regulatory body, to include but not limited to the ACGME annual update, ACGME annual faculty and resident surveys, annual program evaluation, case and procedure logs, milestone reporting, GME track surveys, and ABR registration; manages Resident/Fellow Affairs to include Workday/HR oversight; coordinates medical student programs including coordination and facilitation of med student orientations, scheduling of lectures, and evaluation; manages the department shadowing experiences; works closely with program leadership in developing and implementing educational goals and methods for radiologic training; develops, establishes and interprets program policies and procedures; performs annual review of program curricula; recommends curricula updates and new or revised educational materials; in conjunction with the Chief Residents, manages the yearly block schedule and weekly rotation assignments; oversees resident performance and faculty teaching evaluation activities; manages resident evaluation process; communicates and monitors trainee compliance activities; coordinates special events including educational and training didactics, lectures, and conferences; coordinates in training and board certification exams; coordinates GME site visits; completes trainee verifications; provides administrative support to the Program Director and Associate Program Director; participates in planning and development of annual operating budgets;; reviews, authorizes and monitors procurement and other fiscal expenditures; serves as liaison and attends departmental, institutional, and national meetings; serves as primary contact for prospective residents; plans and administers residency recruitment process, including communications, agenda creation, and evaluation of candidates; manages credentialing and onboarding process for incoming trainees; works with all education staff to plan orientation programming; coordinates offboarding and graduation activities.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable. 4 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
