The executive assistant in the Office of Academic Affairs (OAA) provides a broad range of administrative and strategic support to multiple senior leaders in OAA and the Enterprise for Research, Innovation and Knowledge (ERIK) and manages day-to-day activities of the leaders. Through expert support and strong thought partnership, the executive assistant serves as liaison for university administrative offices and key constituent groups, including staff, faculty, students, external visitors and more. Manages schedule, correspondence, committee responsibilities, and project work. Provides leadership for administrative activities, including complex projects, and resolves problems.
OAA has responsibility for the administration and coordination of all academic areas of the university, including those that advance faculty life, student academic experience, community engagement and more. ERIK plays a vital leadership role in advancing Ohio State’s basic and applied research enterprise, positioning researchers to pursue bold, curiosity-driven ideas and creative expression. The executive assistant will provide dedicated support to leadership of the Center for Software Innovation (CSI), the AI^(X) Hub, and artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives at Ohio State while contributing to a collaborative office culture, working across teams and colleagues in OAA and ERIK to ensure a high-functioning office environment. Role may support additional assignments based on evolving priorities of central administration and senior university leaders.

The Targeted Hiring Range for this position is $55,700 - $72,700. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
