Position Summary

Contributes strategic vision and serves as the top-level technical contributor for health system services in the planning, design, development, implementation, functionality and evaluation of integrated health system information technologies that support and enhance health system practice, administrative and management needs and patient outcomes.  Serves as a top level health system applications consultant and resource with health system knowledge and computer expertise to coordinate and provide support for all new and current applications and software upgrades applicable to the health system. Consults on major initiatives and projects, including multiple departments, service lines, platforms, and various administrative interfaces regarding the integration of health system application technology with overall healthcare solutions. Responsible for the analysis, design, testing and implementation of the most complex health system information systems and solutions. Acts as a subject matter expert on health system application strategies, procedures, policies, and methodologies. Provides direction and insight to leaders, peers and team members regarding the identification and alignment of strategic health systems requirements with evolving business/healthcare opportunities. Recognized across the organization for health system applications expertise and sought as a source for resolution of unique or the most complex health systems problems.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable. 6 years of relevant experience required. 8-12 years of relevant experience preferred.
